There's really no reason to force people to update for every tiny app revision. People should still be able to see the basic news and video feeds without being on the very latest x.0.1x version. If they can't - if that basic functionality is breaking every time the app is updated - then you're building it wrong. The app does deliver news and video well. It's definitely nice to be able to keep up without having to wade through the AFL site or even the club site.
