It works perfect! I can drop and excel document, a doc document, whatever and extracts all the emails right away, erase duplicates and you can export the email either CVS or Text. AMAZING!
I had a spreadsheet with 1500 emails and text that I needed the emails extracted. I looked all over the web and youtube for how to do it. Then I found Extract Emails. Click, click, done! Best $3 ever spent.
Gives a De-Duped CSV of email addresses, no matter what you throw at it… huge excel documents, word documents, html… copy, paste, export. Brilliant.
This saved me a lot of headache. I had 5k+ emails riddled throughout an excel. I was tring to look eslewhere for extracting emails using excel formulas on blogs etc, and it sucked. I thought this app was too good to be true, but it’s not… just too good.
A test with a small file of two bounced emails worked “fairly” well… One address had a parenthesis at the end. An almost 10mb tab delimited file made it choke. I tried removing the tabs, waited and waited for it to perhaps respond, but no luck. I’ve been testing it as I will be sending a mailing to over 5100 web site users who have registered at the site over the last 15 years and want something that will pull addresses out of the bounces I expect to receive. From my testing, I have to conclude that this isn’t it. The support link goes to the Amato website which offered a contact form, but no forum posts or support link. Granted, it’s only $4 but I’ll be looking into how to get a refund once I click submit here.
