Transit • Subway & Bus Times for Android

Good , accurate but why all of a sudden we have to pay for bus times and nearby lines???? We just went through a pandemic, I will not be paying for this app.

I just like that it shows real time and you can even track the bus This is a cool app

This app . Definitely gives you to the min. What is occurring in the Transit System. I am , have been ,even during the worst of the pandemic 😷 , an avid traveler and engaged in what is occurring under ground. I can honestly say I don’t see the cleansing anymore. As vigilant as transit was when the lives of many were in stake So it should continue now. Instead the violence has overwhelming effects on the overall condition of the train system. For about 3 days the #6 train has been in constant disarray. Affecting the people who have no other means to get to their destination. I am truly sorry to see Transit has regressed to such levels.

The app is glitching out when I sign out and when I’m signed in it doesn’t show tap & go barcode or for me to get on the bus

Chicago is a city where up to the minute travel information can make the difference between living it up here and hating this city outright. Its already troublesome that CTA itself is poorly managed and short staffed since the pandemic began, so its already unreliable even without it being somewhat dangerous. In days gone by a Chicagoan had to know their back up transit options as routes would be cut without any announcement, and it seems those days have returned. Enter Transit, an app that seems to think it can charge you for a service they don't even provide. Anything beyond immediate vicinity options is being gatekept, and the information is far from accurate despite satellite connections. The app will tell you a bus is coming is 11 minutes that isnt due for 2 hours, despite that fact being visible on the map. When an app is this unreliable, its better to take your chances with ride share.
