Comparing TE to my accutuner which has just been serviced, tunelab, and a Peterson strobe tuner this app consistently confuses 442Hz for 440. Additionally the sound generation when using piano sounds took samples from a piano with out of tune unisons. The same A440 has very noticeable beats which should not be present in a “tuner” app.
I teach private lessons and k-8th music Lessons and use this app pretty much every day. I already knew it was my favorite before but after they added the different metronome visualizations it went up a whole other tier. There’s not an app I would recommend more than this. If there was one thing I would look for in this app it would be that it would share the practice data between my Mobile and Android. I use them interchangeably but I can’t ever keep a streak because I switch between the two.
I’ve been around loud explosions for much of my life starting young, then Vietnam, then other things, hunting, etc. and have constant ear ringing. Never could hold a note or even know that I hit one. This great app has changed that for me. I’m actually getting to be able to hit a note and hold it. My goal is to be able to join in with others, and that’s happening!!
