Was going to see what settings I could adjust, nope, garbage app synchronization.
My landlord has the internet router upstairs, so this app helped immensely by allowing me to set up the extender without having access to the router itself. Near the end it did keep asking for a password over and over, and seemingly error messages. I just kept pasting in the same one my landlord gave me and it worked in the end. Now I’ve connected multiple devices to a much stronger signal and it’s working great!
So the software is an old version. It tells me I should update it. But I can’t connect through QRS because it has an old software, when I choose to use the other available network, I’m no longer in the QRS app to update it. So I’m in the circle of hell of a worthless product now.
I was able to use this to initially set up my DAP-1330. The extender was plugged into a wall about 10 feet from the router. Nothing could get online through the extender, so I fired up the app to see what was wrong. Now it gives me the message about it being incompatible and to download the latest firmware. No, I think I’ll stop wasting my time on this garbage and stop buying D-link.
I’m using Wireless AC1200 4G LTE Multi-WAN Router and not able to connect and disappoint .
