Those who have called this spectacular must have a low threshold. I really don’t get how this works. The thing never starts at the right time, the snooze options don’t work, it doesn’t necessarily keep track of what you consume, just bugs you to drink and if the reminders and logs are not working right, it is only frustrating instead of helpful. I think there must be some bugs the developer must be working on. Not sure it was actually worth the 99 cents! Sorry! UPDATE - the app information says it is compatible with OS X 10.6 or later, but that is NOT TRUE! I sent a message to the developer and they told me it would not be compatible, that they have no planned update to this to make it compatible, and they offered me no refund. SWINDLED - DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
I've reinstalled this app a couple of times now to see if it resolves my issues. It works well for reminding me when to stop and take a drink, but the specific water break times don't seem to work correctly. When the times are set up, the wrong glass number is displayed. Not a deal breaker, but a little annoying.
I work on my computer, all day everyday. And so I have to just remember to drink water before work and during and 20 minutes before a meal, etc. But with this app, all I have to do is set it for 120 minutes and set the interval for 3 minutes and I'm set. After 120 minutes it goes off, the screen dims down and a glass of water appears with 3 minutes counting down, giving me just enough time to drink a tall glass of water and come back to continue what I was doing and staying hydrated, sharp, and healthy the whole time.
Does exactly what it says. Though one issue I noticed, is sometimes the timer triggers in a different time than the usually, but it is not effecting me much, as long as I'm getting enough water everyday. Suggested improvements is a click counter to count the number of glasses, setting the size of the glasses, and showing the number of Ozs.
