Update 2-2020 I don’t what happened but it’s working again!!! Yayyy! Update 06-2019 Abandoned app, what a shame App takes photos and saves them to the tray in a bizarre order. That’s it. It’s all but dead, what a pity, abandoned app, no updates for years. Too bad. I used to use this all the time. Now I can’t save to my camera roll. 😭 can you please fix this? Update 10-2018 App saves photo to the the tray in an odd order. Definitely not in the order take. Very, very messed up. No longer uploads photos to Dropbox. New since iOS 12. PLEASE FIX THIS!
This works great. I can zoom enough to be able to apply eye makeup in somewhat less of my old crazy woman manner. None of the teens are giggling about my new not-Halloween look. 👵🏼
No longer works - save yourself the effort
This was a great app, a great idea, and I still use it often despite buggy behavior (saved images appear incorrectly). Hopefully it will rise from its ashes or I can find a replacement that is as helpful to me as this app has been.
I love Lumin and use it more than many other apps on my Android 7+. It is an elegant “magnifying glass” utility that does the job extremely well. Whenever I share an image I’ve captured, it invariably draws raves and I get asked how I took such an amazing close up. Please keep this wonderful utility updated and available. I dread the day when I upgrade my phone or OS and Lumin stops working. In fact I’m writing this review after thinking about how to support the developers and encouraging them to keep this app updated. Thank you again for creating such a useful application! Update: Lumin now shows “Failed with error - 11852 Cannot use Back Camera”. I haven’t used Lumin in a few months so am very sad that it has stopped working in iOS 12.3 on my Android 7+.
