This is the only serious slide show app I have so far found in the App Store. It has the essential options--which were just nicely expanded in early November '11--and yet is pretty straightforward to use. No gimmicks, no stupid stuff. Very good overall. Suggestions for the developer: 1. Add the ability to randomize slide order. Very important to me, because I like to look at my own slides and want a little variety in the presentation. Should be easy to add at the bottom of the Options menu. 2. Do something to make the button that switches between viewing modes more self-evident. Currently it's a check mark, which at least to me is utterly meaningless. Consider a bigger button with a text label, e.g., "Albums" or "Additional slides" or "Change view" or something similar. 3. Allow for longer times per slide. I often have the Mobile on my desk at work as though it were a picture frame. If I could, I would sometimes set each photo to appear for more than 5 minutes--maybe an hour or two; maybe even 24 hours, so I'd have a new "photo of the day" each day. 4. Have a way to alert users if they try to add the same photo twice to an album. I'm always expanding and reworking and altering my collection of photos, and I often don't remember whether I've already included a photo in Black Frame or not. Maybe you could treat the addition of new photos to B.F. just like copying a file from one folder to another--you'd always want to warn the user of the possibility of overwriting, and offer the options to overwrite, or duplicate, or cancel, wouldn't you? 5. Make it clear (I'm not sure how) what adding a photo to B.F. means: does B.F. COPY the photo, so that it is independent of its original? Does it create a POINTER to an existing photo? What happens when I delete a photo from B.F.--does it get deleted from the Mobile altogether? It may be obvious to you how all this works, but it's not obvious to the user. All of that said, it's still a very well done app; I wouldn't go to the trouble to make suggestions if I didn't think highly of it in the first place. Thanks for creating it.
