I wish I would have read the reviews. This is a very boring game for my 4yr old. No interaction - total waste of $$$ - should be a free app. At least then I wouldn't be as disappointed.
My 28 month old son loves all kinds of vehicles AND also loves peekaboo apps, so this is a perfect combo. Everything is controlled with a simple click of the mouse, so he can sit and play while I am nearby. He loves listening to the sounds and guessing what type of vehicle is hiding behind the clouds. The sounds are well-done and spot-on. There are separate US and UK settings in the options menu, which I mention since a previous review said the sounds are British. The art style is fun and modern. This app could be improved with additional vehicles--there aren't that many and it gets repetitive quickly. (I know my son would love to see a subway train and a city bus in the game!) Also--someone mentioned in a previous review that one must click the center of the screen, but this has not been my experience--I believe you can click anywhere on the screen. Overall, a fun app that will entertain the younger set, probably under 3.
My nephew doesn't like it. The user clicks the screen and it goes to the next vehicle. That is it! I do not know what this game's creators think "fully interactive" means, but this is very unengaging. There are very few vehicles (12 total) and it gets repetetive quickly for the child. Too simple for children 3 and up, and since the user must click the center of the screen, it is too difficult for most children 2 and younger. Awful, they should not charge money for this. The game could be designed in a day by a student for computer programing class home work. The pictures in the app store page above are a bit misleading. There is only one picture and one vehicle on screen at a time. The user clicks the center of the screen and it goes to an image of smoke puffs, then the user clicks the center smoke puff and it reveals the next vehicle. My nephew didn't care for the smoke puff screen. Perhaps if the game were actually intereactive, such as clicking different parts of the car to trigger actions, then it would be interesting for young children. Or if there were varying levels of interaction that could be set, so that as the child gets bored of just clicking, they could progress to a higher level of interaction and stay engaged and learning. Or if there were a bit of a story. But the current version is awful in every way. It is a lousy version of a virtual story book. You would be better off buying a virtual story book.
My daughter is 2 and enjoys playing this game, easy enough as it only required a mouse click to move along. My 1 year old will sit and watch it too. It must be from a British developer because the sounds and pictures have a British feel to them.
