Just got finished have Birdseye’s Voila! Fajita Chicken for dinner. Looked up the calorie count on the app & it says 170 calories per cup. I then looked on the package, which shows 220 calories per 2 cup serving. Cutting this in half would make it 110 calories per cup, not the 170 the app shows. Makes me wonder how many other things are wrong? Also needs updating for many brands & items missing from the app.
For my diabetes, I measure my food by weight. It would be silly to measure a piece of particular vegetable all the same since all raw vegetables vary in size. You cannot get the accurate amounts that way. I also need fiber which is also essential for some diabetics like me. Restaurants are not my friends.Cooking from raw foods is the best way to tell what we are eating. I have used this for a long time, but it is not as thorough as I wish it was. I am continuing to look for apps that might be better for me.
I pay monthly for the ad free version, yet I constantly have to watch an ad and then "restore purchases" to get rid of the ads! Not happy with an otherwise useful app.
The app has lots of great info in it, but the highly sexualized ad that appeared was offensive. Unless you pay for the ad- free version, be prepared for some rude ads. I don’t recommend the free version.
