Flickr's geotag map is so clumsy on mobile, and having to switch between different tabs was so inconvenient. This app lets me seamlessly browse through them all and explore my surroundings. Kudos, well worth the $1.99!
My favorite app
This app needs a few tweaks, and it could be one of my favorites. I haven't seen an app that allows the user to fly over a map and see geotagged photos, except for Google Earth. The problem with Earth is that it only shows Panoramio pics. MapPhotos will show you more, but it doesn't pin the map on where the photo was taken!!! This one simple feature would give it incredible functionality! As is, the user flys around the map and clicks a button to see what images are within the frame (I guess; there's no verification of that assumption). Please add pins to the map, and this would be an incredible way to explore the world! Pins could even have heads that represented where the source came from (Flickr, Panoramio, Picasa, the Web, etc.). It would be nice to keep the option of viewing "all photos in frame", as the thumbnail views do give an interesting array of images of a general region.
