    • Well WORTH IT !!!!!

I tried 3 or more from the APP store and bought a '0.99' app and also tried HDRtist... bought the HDRtist. No comparison... Don't make the mistake I did and go straight to HDRtist

    • Okay, with a couple of annoying issues

First off, let me clarify that I'm using the "pro" version HDRtist NX2. This app is okay if you don't want to spend $100-$200 on professional HDR software. Has a couple of REALLY annoying issues, though: 1. Cannot zoom in on your image. This is unacceptable, IMO. HDR processing can easily tweak unsavory elements onto your image and sometimes you really need to zoom in to see what your adjustments are doing. Can't do it with this app. 2. On high megapixel images it will export a completely black screen and will also show a black screen when dropping images in to load. VERY ANNOYING. I use a 50 MP camera and at full resolution I get completely black screen imports and exports. If I reduce the image MP's slightly to, say, 45 MP, then it loads and exports fine. I don't understand why it does this. It's cumbersome to adjust the size of each image before loading. 3. Takes FOREVER to export. And yes, I have gone into preferences and made the sggested adjustments. Still the same. S L O W I really wish the developers would fix these two issues. It would make a a world of difference. Until then, two stars.

    • Keeps crashing

I loved this app when I first downloaded it. I used it for years without issues until now. The redesigned update/upgrade to version 2 crashes or freezes constantly. Really would like to continue using but if it continues to crash I might be forced to find an alternative.

    • V2 not good

My Android just installed version 2 of the app, and this is now unusable: no more buttons to save, etc at the top of the window, but more importantly, the HDR result is unusable: way too saturated, even with "Global" to 0%... Horrible picture. Please fix ASAP. I hope I can revert back to V1...

    • In my opinion ...

… as a semi-retired professional photographer, this application is all you’ll ever need for doing HDR work. I’ve tried others (including the”PRO” version by the same developer) and I have yet to run across a program that does a better job than HDRtist. BTW, I always save the file as a TIFF rather than a JPEG. Then, I load the TIFF image as a layer (via PSE) on to the original “base” exposure. By adjusting the opacity of the new layer (via the slider), I can obtain the look I want: not too much, and not too little … just right. Bottom line – get this app; you won’t be disappointed. Best regards.
