I could never get the bearing function to work. I was looking for an app that would give me distance and bearing to a point. This isn’t it.
Still does not work with Google Watch 2
Please add "While Using" option in Location Services settings. Most apps now provide that option and I prefer not to use Always on option because it drains the battery or is just simply unnecessary. I only need GPS turned on when I actually have the app open. As for any reviewer saying this app needs an Internet connection, they are wrong. I tested turning off both Wi-Fi and Cellular Data and it works perfectly fine outside with a clear reception to GPS satellite. Maybe they tried testing indoors or had Location Services for the app turned off. For me it works perfectly fine on my 6s.
I have used this app for several years on Mobile 2 and Mobile 3. It has always worked fine. And by the way, the developer TELLS YOU that it can be a background battery hog if you don't turn it off.
Great little app and worthy of 5 stars with added choice of lat/long in DD MM.MMM as jaskolka states in his review.
