1. I have tried other speed-warning apps, including a couple that have more features (e.g. a fancy HUD as well as "speed-trap warnings", which is not important to me since my aim is to keep to a reasonable speed not too much over the speed limit!)... However, the other apps do not actually work in the background while I am using my GPS navigation or playing iTunes.
