Arizona Daily Sun for Android

To be fair, I’ve only had this thing installed 12 hours, but within ten seconds I could tell something was amiss - this application only seems to know about portrait mode. I checked the obvious - screen lock is disabled. Inspected Settings to see if somehow Landscape versus Portrait is a manual setting. Newp. So for those of us who know how to rotate a device 90 degrees and store their 1100 USD Mobile in a protective case with an attached keyboard, the desire to read local news has to be weighed against having to actually *hold* the Mobile in hand to avoid an uncomfortable neck ache. And, of course, charging the device while using this app would require placing the device in a potentially dangerous location *or* rotate it through another 180 degrees to the “upside-down” position. The *horror*! I sure hope there’s something interesting up the hill to read about.

Local cops chase homicide suspect thru town. He's still on the loose. You see headline on newspaper at the store. Open this app? NOTHING about it. I've had this app for several months now and I have NEVER been able to open it and see breaking local news. News articles you know exist must be searched for using keywords! No sensible news categories! No 'Local News' menu! All stories lumped together from national to local. And local news articles that you want to see, such as recent news or popular stories, aren't visible!

I enjoyed this app more before the national news headlines were added. Now they are intertwined with the local daily sun articles. Please separate them. This app used to satisfy the local flagstaff news niche, and now it is having an identity crisis.

New app not working, returns you to home page.

The previous version of the app would repeatedly take me online to an advertiser's website even when 1) I hadn't clicked on the ad and 2) I closed the web page and relaunched the app. I downloaded the update of this app and now it doesn't work at all. I click on it and I'm taken back to my home screen.
