Great app ! Worth much more than the asking price. I just hope it gets updated for the next version of Android os.
This would have been a very useful tool for me and my students back in the days 1976-2001, but sadly we had only pencil, paper, slide rules, later hand held calculators, finally graphing calcs, computers and spreadsheets. Maybe more thinking should be required. This app may make it too easy and the student misses the important thinking behind the formulas. Getting the answer is not the primary objective. One reviewer claimed not to see the formulas used. I found in this version it appears if one clicks on the question mark icon (?). On launch, my later model Android 5K warned version 8.0 of the app might become inoperable unless ugraded from 32 bit to 64 bit code. Probably why it is free today. Some of the non standard formula notation seems to indicate the author might be a talented student of physics, but not an experienced instructor, e.g. Newton’s first law of dynamics is usually written F = ma (mixed upper and lower case) and not F = MA all caps. Further, several first year courses may present this as a differential calculus form which goes well beyond the intention of this app. Kudos for this effort, worth a look and a try.
