Kept updating the ETA to 30 minutes from when I checked even an hour after I placed my order. This is obviously in part a local service problem but they make it worse by being unpredictable.
This app is clearly going out of business. There are restaurants “on the app” but when you order they don’t respond or just cancel. No one uses this app anymore.
When I first began using the service, it was less savvy. Now, the e-mail promotions don’t appear in the application, and the application codes are at times unreliable. For example, I receive notifications after the code is “maxed out” or the code has expired, and the code details have conflicting information. One thing I like is the earned points system; it’s also fairly transparent and points are easy to redeem. DoorDash is far more reliable with communication but Delivery.com has better customer service. It seems the best method for ordering delivery is to directly contact the restaurant, which also saves $$.
Do NOT use this app. You will have nothing but heartache. They greedily take their cut, but offer ZERO assistance when the delivery people can't be bothered to show up or the merchant doesn't return half your stuff. Not their problem! Well, no, not anymore cuz you don't get my money anymore! Avoid problems and use another service!!!!!!
The app seems to work OK, the problem is I cannot get an order. My first attempt left me waiting 3 hours before i had to cancel. I ordered at 4:30, was told it would be 40 minutes. At 7:30 they were still preparing my order. So i cancelled and microwaved something. My second attempt, i ordered and 30 minutes later got a call stating they had no drivers. They said i could keep my order and get it myself or cancel. Seriously? What is the point of a delivery app if i need to drive out and get it myself? So i had to cancel again. I will just go old school and pick up my own food. Too bad because the app seems great, but if i cannot get my deliveries through it, what is the point of the app????? Deleted!
