1. The user interface of this metronome is designed in such a way that you can enter music very rapidly: after setting up the preset buttons, a single tap will add a new measure with the desired time signature.
2. Using the settings window, you can configure how many measures must be counted of before the actual playing starts.
3. Using the buttons at the bottom of the screen, you can indicate the accents in the measure.
4. Also, you can configure the metronome sounds, whether playing should auto-repeat, and how much detail you want to see in the measures.
5. These accents play with a different sound, so that you can actually hear the difference between 7/8 that is played as 2+2+3 and one that is played as 3+2+2.
6. When you hit the play button, only the selected measures will be played.
7. You can even share them with fellow musicians: by clicking the action button, you can send the selected piece by e-mail.
8. You can set up the time signature preset buttons for every piece.
9. If you have enabled auto-repeat in the settings, the part will play over and over again, so that you can thoroughly train it.
10. Using the two wheels, you can choose the number of beats in the measure, and the beat duration.
11. The numbers on the buttons indicate how the measure should be counted.

Great app! Highly intuitive for musicians of all kinds. Programmable feature is the best! However, adding options for different metronome sounds would be great, rather than just different notes (also fixing that screen because I think it only displays properly when Android is horizontal). Also, more options for the count off feature (number of beats, sound, etc).
I like a lot of the features of this app - the customizing of mixed meters, the saving of songs with a tempo, the setting of the click sound, the ability to set a sound off measure, to name a few. But there is a serious failing. Unless I missed it, the tempo sets only to a quarter-note. There seems to be no provision for a metronome marking of 66 to the dotted quarter, for example. It's more than a little inconvenient to have to do the math every time one is faced with compound meters. This really needs to be addressed.
