Great game!!! Gorgeous graphics!!! Very interesting and addictive. Well worth the money. A different kind of time management game! Must try!

I got this game to play together with my 6 year old. It's a fun game, light, with a storyline, something you could play 20-30 minutes a day with the young'ins to keep their brains working while having fun. The objective in each scenario is different, you are on a clock, having to work fast. You have various obstacles to work through, resources to use to build your roads, etc. The result is that each scenario presents a sort of puzzle that you have to figure out, prioritize your work, and the like. In one scenario, gold may be the key, or food, or stone. Or, it may be that lumber is important, but only for the first half, then it becomes gold. It's a fun way to make kids think through problems and see new patterns. I recommend it and found myself playing it beyond our predetermined playtime. Graphics: Great. Fun: Great. (For adults: High) Playability (younger audience): High. Learning tool beyond what first meets the eye: High. Price: A bit high, but still acceptable. A word to the developer: To enhance the puzzle / playability of the game, permit the player to use the cursor to go over each object on the map before starting an episode, allowing them to see where the mines/production centers are, obstacles to get to them, and resource cost. This helps to estimate where effort should go, particularly in the beginning. There are some scenarios where, if you do not conserve a particular resource, you will stuck in the middle and unable to complete it or get past a snow drift, etc. Being able to see resource requirements would help young players (and older ones like me) to guesstimate better before beginning an episode.
