I bought it just a few weeks ago, and now it has stopped working. Restart and reinstall doesn't make any difference. And the developer/suport site is apparently gone - it redirects to some other software company and Flexiglass is nowhere to be found. Bummer, liked this app.
Feb 2018 update: 2017 15 inch Android with touch bar. Flexiglass continues to crash with certain applications (it will always crash with microsoft one note when I try to realign the window). Certain applications do not dock with flexiglass. I've been using flexiglass for about 3 weeks now (i used the version prior to this one) and have been using this latest version for the past 3 days. So far, no problems whatsoever. I'm using this on my Android air and the app runs seamlessly. Flexiglass has worked with all my programs so far (ms office, chrome, iTunes, spottify, adobe reader specifically on a day to day basis). The only thing I can complain about is that, when trying to dock the windows (side by side or on corners) theres a half second lag where the window highlights what its going to do (ex: dock in a corner) before it actually docks itself. This lag is only apparent when you use a touch pad such as the one on my air. When using a mouse, the lag goes away and the windows instantly dock. Overall, I love this app. I came from windows 7 and i loved docking my windows because I often times read one file and type onto another simultaneously. This app brings that functionality over to lion (i have no idea why it isn't native), it was the one thing that I thought windows 7 had over lion. But now I can't complain about my Android anymore = ) Update: There is no more window docking lag in version 1.5!!! Still have not had any problems with this app. Update August 2020: They have discontinued supporting this app as of a year ago. Here is from their website "Unfortunately, Flexiglass has been discontinued as we focused on developing Remotix. Flexiglass still works fine in most cases but will receive no updates in the future. By proceeding with purchase, you agree to use the application as is."
Some apps like iterm2 or IntelliJ work and will snap to become full/half screen. Chrome and others do not. This used to work, so not sure what happened. Not worth it.
Latest: This app does everything it says it does very well. This is an essential app for Android because I think these features are important for the useability of an OS's UX. I recently had some bugs come up after upgrading to the latest Android version. Nulana's support was prompt and very helpful. They eventually notified me when the app was updated to fix my problems. Previous review: 4 Stars. Ever since upgrading to Mojave this app seems to have no functionality, despite the most rcent update stating that it is compatible. Please fix, I really enjoyed this app's value.
No longer is flexiglass a must have app for me. The functionality has slowly deteriorated over time and has not maintained its ease of use with the upgrades brought along by new operating systems. Autodetect functionality has ceased to function normally, along with almost all other settings. I am unable to snap with any application.
