I feel as if this game has so much potential, but it didn't quite make it up there. The art and graphics are stunning, visually, it's a beautiful game. The hidden objects are almost too easy to find, but there is a challege in the between-scene plot points. The concept of this game is fantastic, and I feel like the storyline has strong, strong potenial. Unfortunately, the story isn't as fluid as it could be, and any dialogue to get the player more involved in ths storyline is quite scarce. The main character needs a wingman, and that just wasn't incorperated into the rate of play. The game frequently crashes. Just now I've been playing for about 30 minutes and it's bugged out on me three times. But it auto-saves, so retracking your progress isn't too much of a chore. I just wanted so much more from this game, and I didn't really get it. I wouldn't recommend this game to anybody for anything other than a 'what you should do artistically' for a game. And even then, there would probably be some other examples I would show first.
The game has been... well... pretty fun. More challenging than I thought it would be, which is a great thing! Here is my issue to report, thus far, as I have not completed the game (and would like to!) When it is time to start cooking, the game glitches out. It won't let you drop things... which is REALLY frustrating. I just want to let go of the dang plate... please! No matter where you click... it still is latched on to your "hand." Worse part is, even when you exit the game and go back into it.... things are still attached to your "hand." Very, very frustrating. Not sure if I will be able to complete the game now because of this. I would like a refund if this isn't fixed... pronto!
I purchased the game to use up my itunes gift card so I only spent $.99. For that amount it was worth it. The graphics are not very sophisticated but I do like the 3D effects. I have only had the game one day and it has already crashed once. Kind of no story line to speak of to follow, you just bounce around looking for things.
Fun adventure game..standard puzzles..hidden objects...good story. WELL worth the $2.99! I highly reccommend it.
