PlugShare app is self congratulatory, inaccurate

This app falsely enhances the quality rating of charging station. It is not an accurate indicator of the reliability of EV fast charging stations. If an EV user has one or more failed attempts to initiate or complete charging, yet in the end they somehow charge successfully, the station still is given , via Plugshare, a perfect “10.0” score. It’s because Plugshare uses a forced choice of either: successfully charged….. or not. Successfully charged = 10 (even if it took a user multiple failed attempts before successfully charging) Failed to Charge = 0

Using app to plan trip

Love the user feedback on charging stations. Learned more about charging options and that there are free spots and some that gave me sticker shock. Get info if you spend the time.

Want to love it but I can’t

Simply used as a tool to find an EV charger of appropriate strength it’s great. It’s trip planner, wow how could this be such a weak tool on iOS? Why can’t I simply send the trip to google, Google or waze maps. And that It’s much easier to create trip on web site. Again ugh. Was really frustrated by the web trip planner - i couldn’t simply choose an alternate road than the one suggested. I would like to have one go to app rather than appreciate features done better in other apps.
