Great app for stress relief and relaxation. There is only the single guided meditation but it is near perfection with soothing voice and hypnotic tour of our “secret garden” of emotion. It’s like curling up with a good book and cup of tea. I love that we can vary it with different background music and can control voice and music volume separately. There is also a nice selection of calming videos. My only complaint is that there is no way to bookmark the tips. You must remember which ones you’ve already read and flip through from the beginning to find your place (my memory practice for the day). But the tips are just an added bonus for this half hour of peaceful bliss that are always in your pocket. I’m upgrading to 5 stars because now the tips remember where I left off. Not sure if it was an upgrade or a phone setting but it suits my needs perfectly!
First off, let me say that the speaker has a very soothing voice and the initial focus on breathing was great, but then came the imagery. If you have skin sensitivities and/or balance issues, you might want to skip this one. By several minutes in, I was trying to avoid thinking about itching and overheating, as well as staying balanced and not falling while walking downhill, until I was so tense I had to turn it off. If you are just mentally stressed, though, I think this could be relaxing.
The sequence to help you fall asleep is wonderfully dreamy, and I deeply enjoy it. It’s so nice that when I fall asleep before my favorite part, which is quite often, I’m a bit disappointed. Thank you for many, many nights of better sleep!
I still use this app every night after all these years. Every time I see a new app for sleep, meditation, or relaxation I compare to this one and this app is still the best! I would like a dark mode and a longer sleep timer but those are minor improvements over the great product you have created! Thanks! 🥰👍
