When I use WeChat, WeChat often pops up a window asking me to bind a mobile number. After I bound my mobile number, I regretted it and wanted to unbind my mobile number, but WeChat did not provide an option to unbind it. WeChat collected my mobile number but did not provide an option to unbind it, which violated the law of privacy rights. This app is beyond infuriating. I wanted to chat with folks overseas (china) and this was the only app I could use to do so. I’ve signed up and yet, my account is blocked due to “suspicious activity”. The only way to unblock my account is if a friend who uses wechat vouches for me. I enter my friends wechat number and it says no account exists. I have absolutely no idea why my account was even blocked to begin with. This app is f-ing TERRIBLE.
