Please make sure there are additional platforms to connect with the stylist. My stylist never showed up. The stylist did not have a means of communication. I received a location through the app and the location was inaccurate. I screen recorded everything I experienced while using the app. I could not cancel the appointment because the app directed me to call the professional. The Professional had no phone number so I was not able to call anyone. I’m upset but my sisters have used this app before in other states and claim that some people are legitimate and have done their hair. One of my sister experience the same thing I did. Please be aware and do not pay through the app. This took place in Huntington, WV.

I do not like this app it automatically takes money out for my appts and i don’t like there’s no customer service number to speak with anybody

As a StyleSeat stylist I myself can’t book a service every time I go to book a service to get done it says that I am booking with myself, not the stylist I am booking with, I have to log out of the app, select the service and then I can provide my email and password as I am confirming the booking. Please fix this.

I was charged for a service I didn’t receive. The stylist never gave her phone number or address prior to when I booked. I also didn’t know I was going to be charged upfront which is unheard of. Normally clients don’t pay until after receiving a service, but this app is backwards and goes to show why Booksy is superior.

Undoubtedly this is an app that serves a very useful purpose. However, the app designs and functions are flawed and can be quite annoying. For example, whenever you search stylist and click on a stylists profile and go back to the search list, it scrolls you all the way back up to the top instead of retaining your scroll position. This makes it very hard to look through the list stylists because you keep losing your position. Secondly, your list of favorited stylists is on a small horizontal column on the home screen. It should be in a list that’s easier to scroll through when you have a lot of favorites. Thirdly, the app isn’t all that snappy, it’s slow and sluggish. Because it’s loading after almost every click or scroll it takes me longer to do relatively quick things. The app is good, it puts you in contact with the people/businesses we all need at some point. However using it just isn’t as good as it could be. It needs improvement.
