I downloaded this to get alerts and weather updates especially through the night but it’s so unreliable. I rarely get notifications although they are turned on and the forecast are very very wrong. Even throughout the day the weather is off pretty bad. It only changes when the weather changes. It’s never anything we can rely on to plan for outings. Don’t waste your time. Find another weather app.

While the issue with “crying wolf” alerts continues (see original review at bottom), another issue with alerts has started. My husband and both have the app with the same location marked as our base. Sometimes he’ll get an alert and I won’t or the other way around. To top this the alerts which are very specific such as rain/storms will begin in _ minutes, are 100% inaccurate. Not one of these alerts in the last week have been correct. I’m not expecting them to be correct down to the minute, but most of these saying rain/storms will arrive in _ minutes we get nothing or it will be hours after the alert, or in some cases it will have already been raining/storming for several hours before an alert is received. …. Alerts not working properly. Issuing alerts for non severe weather. Alerts are meant for urgent/emergent weather, but this app sends alerts for every random thing (such as sunny and warm). It’s sort of like crying wolf. Initially startles you thinking something bad is coming and eventually you begin to ignore all of the alerts. No where in the settings have I allowed non urgent/emergent alerts yet that’s what I get all the time. The forecast is messed up as well. Some days it will show 0% chance of rain on a certain day but when you click on that day to expand it it may show 50% chance in the evening.
