Totally wowed by how much flexibility this app offers. I follow a regular half marathon or marathon training plan, and this app lets me predefine paced tempo, interval, and extended (long) runs that I can store away and tweak when I do my next event. Packed with loads of features that I’ve found valuable - fastest recorded 1k, 5k, etc, song playlist used for a run, Google health and calorie tracking, etc. Highly recommend! Although built for running, this app will find fans from walkers, cyclists, etc
This app is buggy and doesn’t solve any of the problems presented by other, more popular running apps.
Plain and simple, good UI, good features, does what you need and no extra junk. No forcing you to sign up for an account, no providing personal info, no storing your data on their server to sell to advertisers. Much appreciated!
This app is not great. I bought it because it was supposed to load up my workouts from TrainingPeaks and it… kind of worked. For some background, if you run a Garmin you can sync your TrainingPeaks workout plans straight to your Garmin. Then you go out, you hit run, your watch says “Did you want to do this workout today?” Hit yes, and then your watch feeds you your workout metrics (speed, heart rate zones, etc) in real time. It’s fantastic. I recently was gifted an Google Watch and was trying to get my Google Watch to do the same thing. TrainingPeaks is working on integration straight to Google but for now this app was supposed to be the solution. So about the app. It loaded up some of my workouts. Out of 16 weeks of runs it showed 5 on my phone and only 1 on my watch. So I load up todays run on my phone and get going, to find out that the Watch app doesn’t keep a consistent timer during the run. The phone app does, but the Watch app does not. The whole app interface is also ugly as it gets. It doesn’t need to be super complex but it really could use a facelift. It’s ugly and unintuitive. After all of that I’m going to just run with my Garmin. This is the “best” option for integrating TrainingPeaks onto your Google Watch for the moment and it’s terrible at that, and then they also want you to buy the app AND pay for a subscription.
Pretty nice app, but frequently does not show manually entered runs. I save a run, and it’s in the log. But the next day it’s gone. Then, a day after that, it’s back! Weird and kinda frustrating, but not a deal breaker for an otherwise very nice app.
