It works really good for Dungeons and dragons
The dice sets and folders are just great. Such a clean and logical interface. I just wish there was a way to assign a value or text to each result for a roll. It would make random event and word generation like magic.
I’ve used this app extensively over a 1.5 year campaign to manage combat. I’ve got quite a library of dice sets built up to this point. I don’t run combat without this app. It can take quite a bit of time to flesh out a set of new dice sets for anticipated combat encounters, but it is time well spent for how easy it makes running the actual combat. The basic dice rolling and dice calculator also means I can run my campaign encounters even while I’m on the road without lugging a lot of paraphernalia.
I really like the folder management here, it makes it very simple to prepare encounters with many different monsters and attacks, and roll the whole round of attacks instantly. The only feature I'd like to see added is a way to sync between multiple devices (I use Android and Mobile) or to import folders more easily (I know there's an Export button, but I have been unable to import a dice set and the tutorials aren't that clear in that regard)
I love how well the app can easily roll dice. I can spend four dollars rather than spending $15-$20 by buying physical DND dice set. This is a lot better. I would recommend changing the Dice Sets to be a lot more like a character sheet in DND. It would make the app a lot better!
