I tried every alternative and this one is the most reliable…. Problem is I have to add individual songs from a playlist and can’t add the playlist… Not that big a deal, but I have 18k songs and hundreds of songs on my playlist and the app stops working if I add too many songs… Seems like an easy fix and making random an option would be nice, but it’s a little time consuming for now
This app does not work at all whoever runs it is taking people money.
I would use this only if playing on an Xbox 360 where you can play music from an Android through the music tab
I saw a Reddit thread recommend this as a way to stream MP3s on my phone to my Chromecast. The software has no means to look at what music is there, no means to select what to stream to, and no means of redress when it couldn’t find my ChromeCast. Very disappointing, even for free.
So by a miracle or coincidence, I just happened to be looking through iTunes folders on my Android, and noticed this app folder for my iPod with all these old apps I don’t use anymore and I saw this and remembered how great it was back in the day on ps3 and when it didn’t work for ps4 I was bummed and deleted the app. Which made me search for it in the store just out of curiosity and when it said it works for ps4 now I was pumped but at the same time skeptical. Just tried it and most if not all my music is there, haven’t done a thorough search so some could be missing but it looks like everything is there. This is a much more convenient way to listen to my music instead of having to use my flash drive because of the different ways to sort music and easier navigation instead of just one giant list to scroll through and still only be able to listen by album and not just all. I’m fn pumped this is back. After a couple weeks now, I can safely say my flash drive is back to being my music player. This app literally stops songs midway for some unknown reason, then you get an error image where the artwork used to be and suddenly a ton more songs become unplayable and you have to restarted the app just to listen to half the song again. This app always had problems since I first found it all those years ago, oh well, back to my flash drive. I mean how stupid is that, you show the entire layout of what my iPod looks like making navigation so much easier.....but then every song just crashes and stops playing.
