Sony products keep disappointing year after year. There is no hope anymore that it will get back of being reputable brand. Core services don't work as advertised. Software/firmware support is dropped after 2 years since production start. Network services discontinued shortly after firmware support is dropped. Sony product becomes just a dark, led-flashing box in less than 4 years. Decommissioning STR-DN1040 - replacing going back to Onkyo. Decommissioning BDP-S790 - going back to Samsung. UBP-X800 is a complete disappointment after having used BDP-S790 for years. X800 is going back to Sony for complete refund. XBR-55X900C so far is doing ok for a TV, maybe purely because it is actually running by Google (Android) TV firmware inside. How do I keep running a network of BDP-S790, STR-DN1040, and 4x of SA-NS500 you say?!... yeah, that's right - dump him and the rest users (losers)... what they can do anyways!....
Was excited to setup playlist and listen to them without having to turn on the TV. But, when my device display goes to sleep, the app doesn’t play the next song ☹️ Works on my STR-DN1080 receiver
When will 64 bit be available. If no, then with iOS 11 - no longer works and will not be able to control Sony network speakers UPDATE: 2.3.0 works well. 2.3.1. Looses the ability to control nas-sv20i. This needs to be fixed
This update still does not work. Please, Please, fix this with IOS 11. Please!
Thank you for upgrading it to 64bit platform as now I can use it again on my iOS 11 Android.
