Works just like the classic board game but with an AI opponent. That plus a few new features like settings for the number of pegs and whether or not repeats or blanks are allowed make this a perfect adaptation. I use it to teach logical reasoning.
It would be nice to be able to select which ball to chose the color instead of being forced to work from left to right.
Kind of wish it had more options but the game works well and is fun to play.
But when I play it, the "hints" are all wrong. It'd say I have a color in the right place but when I put in that same place, the hint says it's wrong.
But better. Options to add letters to colors, choose blanks or not, repeats or not, and 3 levels of play. And you don't have to worry about "partner" scoring incorrectly!!! A big bonus imho. Plus it's free! If you like mastermind you should REALLY like this game. No time constraints, don't have to rush. Take all the time you want to solve in the fewest moves possible (besides blind luck). Ok, so you can't do the dishes while you wait for the other person to take their turn. And share conversation. But Great for impatient players like me.
