I’ve tried all the weather apps but this one just fits right. It gives me everything I need in a nice format and nothing I don’t.
Seasonality is the best weather app I have found. It pulls in real weather data from public sources and displays actual information, numbers, graphs and maps of the data. This avoids all the weather hype! The main screen gives all the current weather information in a fast and easy to understand format. At the top is the temperature, precipitation (rain snow clear cloudy etc) wind direction and wind speed, cloud cover with cloud altitudes, etc. Below is Time of day, moon phase, dial indicators for sun rise and set, moon rise and set, and the actual numbers. Second screen is simple multi-day forecast. Third screen is the best weather map I have ever seen! It shows the wind as moving colored dots. The color is the air temperature. The direction and speed of the dots is the wind speed and direction. The actual weather fronts and High Low barometric pressure indicators are overlaid. Radar and cloud cover can be turned on and off, along with animation. Best of all the map covers the entire Earth so you can see the big global weather patterns. I watch hurricanes development from the Sahara, Arctic storms, and the like. The fourth screen are graphics charts for all the data history and 10 days of forecasts. The data is plotted hourly to view all the weather dynamics. Temperature and humidity are overlaid to understand dew point and fog probably. Wind direction clearly shows when fronts are coming through. Wind speed shows constant and gusts. Precipitation is actual and probability. And more!!! This app is the BEST. Completely worth purchasing. There’s a one time cost and no subscription fee! I looked up the author before I purchased. One person wrote the entire app. He is a professional weather forecaster and also sells very high end software which runs on big computers for the weather forecasters to use.
Great for the weather nerd! There is a tab with graphs of forecast winds, precipitation, temperature & cloud cover to quickly plan outdoor activities. Map can be loaded up with lots of data layers, including fronts & winds. Great all around!
please make the horizontal temperature lines black in the temp. graph so they are be read in the solid-colored temp. field! at present the white lines on light color just disappear.
I have had this since it came out and it keeps getting better!!
