If you like the old version, don’t update. Another case of developers changing an app for the sake of change. And, the change was not for the better. Used to be my favorite digital calculator. The app used to be user friendly and had a pleasant look and feel. Now it is cold and sterile looking and not as easy to use. The calculator has no sound when I touch a key. When I try to change the sound settings so I can have sounds, I’m prompted to purchase a $3.99 upgrade fee - after I purchased the older version which did have sounds. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS APP!
It seems like a fine calculator app, but in addition to the app store price there is also a 4 dollar fee for half of what they advertise here. I'd be fine with it if it was clearly noted on the app store listing, but without that it's simply dishonest and misleading.
Drop dead simple and has a tape, it’s exactly what I wanted.
I’ve been using this app for years now. The tape function is part of the draw, but the format and simplicity also makes this my favorite calculator.
This is my second review since the upgrade I've had this calculator since 2018 or so I love the format display since the upgrade it's horrible no sound no tape no going back to the older version should be a disclaimer. Looking back at the complaints, despite going on over a year and now they want more money to fix their mistakes....... they requested screenshots of the problem and I did the response was fast and quick. I do give them credit for that. But the resolve of deleting the app and reloading failed just like their upgrade!
