2. Once a correct sequence of connection attempts is received, the firewall rules are dynamically modified to allow the host which sent the connection attempts to connect over specific port(s).
3. Using KnockOnD one can define destination host, delay between packets (in milliseconds) and port numbers to which packets are to be sent as a "sequence".
4. KnockOnD is a simple port knocking client compatible with knockd or any other port knocking server.

Great port knocking app

Simple, clean, easy. Probably needs to be recoded in Swift as it gives a warning message under iOS 10. But still works just great. Thanks!

Does the job!

This app is for "port knocking", which you have to setup on your server. When you ping your server on certain ports in a specific order, your server can open up access and a lot more. This app just enables your iOS device to send these port knocking sequences. Very useful!

In need of stability/usability fixes

As noted in a previous reviewer's notes, you have to perform some contortions to set up this app properly. Once it's set up, though, it's simple and useful.

Crashes when entering sequences unless you are careful

I find this program useful, but a few quirks causing crashes prevent a 5 star rating: * When you change a value, you must click off the value to affect the change. * You need to save before adding a port. It works great once the sequence is saved. The delay feature is great, as I've seen some problems when there isn't a delay and the packets arrive in the wrong order.
