I have been tracking pain for the last month. Great app. Just printed a report I can take to my doctor.
I have used so many pain apps, this is better than I ever imagined for tracking my pain. I can just pain on where the pain is, plus I can view where the muscles or nerves are then D follow the pain along.
Still learning the fine points of the application, but my doctors find it fantastic: it gives them a longitudinal view of my chronic pain. Easy to get started.
Having chronic pain is hard enough to cope with alone, bringing yourself to actually document what you’re feeling can really be a struggle. Having to deal with your data being deleted makes it even worse! But...I’m trying to get in the habit of doing so again and had used this app years ago when I first became injured, to document what I was experiencing. It seemed to work great then, now not so much! After spending over an hour trying to reference my body map in my notes, I was repeatedly kicked out of the journal entry and the entry was gone. Parts of my entry had now replaced my previous entry. After going through this frustrating process repeatedly, I finally thought I finished only to discover that I was still missing data that I entered (more than once). I decided to copy information to yet another brand new journal entry only to have my body map completely disappear...for good this time. I really want to believe in this app! I paid for it and expect it to work!
I send these reports to my doctor a week before an appointment. Every day I fill out the diary comments showing daily struggles and accomplishments and any other problems I might forget to talk with her about at our appointments. She loves the notes and they are very helpful for her to diagnose potential problems. It also helps show things that trigger pain and breakthrough pain. I particularly like the weather and biometric pressure which helps explain and track arthritic flares. My only trouble with the app is sending emails. Sometimes the attachments go through, others they do not. I wish it would be easier to email and not have to figure out each time where to go and how. I used to be tech savvy but as I get older have no desire to learn more complicated things and now struggle. If there could be a simple button to push on the main page and a date parameter it would be very helpful. Also, as other comments mention, when I paid to upgrade I thought I was paying for the pro version, not just the ability to track more than 20 days of history. I felt a bit misled and like it was attempting to fleece more money out of me. Overall I do like the app.
