Sign up of you want to spend $70 a year to watch content you’re already paying cable for. The entire ESPN+ service is just a way for Disney to double dip on their fees without providing anything useful in return. Don’t have cable and expected to be able to watch ESPN content? ESPN will happily take your money and tell you to sign up for a cable service to watch the services you’re already paying them for.
For a company the size of Disney, you would think that they would be able to make an app and web platform that could handle its job. Not the case though, the mobile app, smart tv app (lg and Samsung at least), and browser app all fail near constantly. Make a better product please.
Like some reviewers I use the app out of habit. With the continuous bombardment of ads and inability to see half the content without a paid subscription to ESPN+, the app is pretty worthless. Also there is NEVER any coverage of track & field.
