Alarm.com for Android

I am moving and asked to have the alarm system on hold until I close on my new home and they refused to comply. They want to keep charging me for service even though my system is down. I told them this was unacceptable and they told me that if I didn’t pay they would put me in collections. WTH!!! Very poor customer service.

The app is not so easy to use. The sensors refresh time is very long. It takes 10~15 minutes to refresh the true status of the sensors.

In 2005 this would have been a great app. It seems as if it was designed by a contemporary of mine: balding, with glasses, no sense of fashion, smoking a pipe. The app is not intuitive, looks ancient, and there are minimal options to personalize it. It functions ok, but not in an earth shattering manner. And because it functions ok, I’m hopeful that the app will see some much needed modernization.

Terrible design and execution. The app is very glitchy, especially when dealing with the doorbell camera. It also does not give a way to update the wifi for individual devices.

Awful, terrible, unresponsive, incompetent customer service. Door bell hasn’t worked in over a year and no one responding to maintenance requests.
