Actual game play is exactly what I want. However, that fact that it constantly pauses my music is a dealbreaker for me.
The thing that bothers me is the app will slow down sometimes, so it takes longer to mark the square as a bomb. I’ve been blown up too many times by pulling me finger off too soon. It takes it as a select instead of marking it. So, sometimes I don’t play it for a while because it’s aggravating.
okay so it definitely is minesweeper, there is no doubt about that. you can play the classic game. in fact it maintains the box that lets you put in your name when you break a record despite not offering a way to see the top scores which is funny, but perhaps pointless. the only issue i have is that it automatically pauses any music or podcast you might be listening to, which sort of ruins the fun of playing a game like minesweeper! i don’t know why it does that because as far as i can tell, the game itself has no music or sound effects built into it, it just decides to inconvenience you for no particular reason. if that was fixed, it would be five stars. i’m not one to care about ads (though you can get back to back ads when you lose and when you start a new game), i just wish i could listen to music and play the game at the same time, like how i can with other phone games.
When playing this game you can’t be watching videos or listening to music. Quite dumb.
