Was excited to see an app that allows you to score rook correctly with the betting system. Was very excited to see it even accommodates the “Baby bird” and “Red 1” versions of the game, but when I tried to use this feature I found it was broken. No matter what you assign the value to this option, it will be scored as 20. It literally has an input field for you to set the value of this card, then it ignores whatever you put in and uses a value of 20. Tried to get help via the developers wiki page but there is literally no way to contact the developer there, and the wiki is full of broken links. If the developers are reading these, I also find it very strange that you can set a call partner, but then when scoring it gives you the option to not score with your partner. Odd that you have to manually tell it each time to count your points together.
Would be good to have for Mobile resolution as well Scoring options, this app scores differently than described in all the card sets
Great addition to an already solid app. Thanks for adding the ability to play with called partners and 6 players. The interface is very intuitive and easy to learn. The only thing that would be nice to see yet is the ability to track what card was chosen as partner when playing called partners.
I have played rook since I was a kid and we always played with 2 rooks: the rook and black 1. The rook was worth 30 points and the black 1 was worth 20 points for a total of 150 points in a game. I do not see a way to set the scorecard for 150 points without making the black 1 worth 30 points. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? How many points do you play for in a hand?
Beautiful. Thank you!
