Post-Nov. 11, 2015 update: fantastic! Really. Way to go, whoever was responsible. All nice touches. Earlier review (updated a little): Very good app, though every now and then some strange freeze-up, only fixable by deleting and re-downloading. (Maybe turning phone off/on woulda fixed it. Dunno.) - Switching how I was holding Android - to "landscape" orientation, then back to "portrait" position - cleared it up, last time. Simple. But, overall, great app. (I'm on an Android 5, runnin' iOS 8.1.3, I think it is - held off on iOS 8.2 and 8.3 upgrades.)
This has been my "go to" Bible on both the Mobile and my Android for years and it has rarely let me down. But I noticed a glitch with the NLT in that the verses won't highlight, so I went to the website. That's when I noticed that the latest version is 5.4 and my app is still at 5.1.6. on both devices. Further, the website is totally unresponsive except for showing my notes. What's going on?
by: Dr. D. Thompson - April 12, 2012 This is a wonderful app and well worth the money. I am disappointed in the loss of the NIV 1984 version of the Bible. Please get this version back as soon as possible. Once in place, this is a five-star product again.
I LOVE this and use it every day but I am having trouble with the daily readings which require Internet. I always get the message that I am not connected to the internet but I am through both wifi and cellular. This feature has always worked for me before so I am confused why it doesn't work now. Is this a bug that needs fixing? Please help!
