Blue Defense! for Android

I love this game. I’ve been playing since the original release. I had the Android 3G at that time (2008). I now have the Android XS Max in 2019. There was an app update on 3/22/19 and it kept crashing. I deleted it and re-downloaded the app. It works great again.

I’ve had this game since my first Android 3G in 2010 and it’s always been one of my favorites. However, I haven’t been able to play this game in several years because of incompatibility with modern iOS. Suddenly, and update comes from the developer several days ago, in 2019, claiming to bring compatibility to the game with modern phones, however the game still does not launch. I thought the developer had stopped working on the game, however that doesn’t seem to be the case, although, whatever compatibility tweaks were incorporated in the latest update were not implemented correctly.

I used to play this game all the time in 2010. A dated game, but a solid one nonetheless. This update is filled with sloppy optimizations, including, but not limited to improper formatting for Android 5 in many levels and multiple HUDs after levels requiring reorientation of the screen. Needs fixing

This is by far one of my favorite games in the app store. It is challenging and a lot of fun.

I don't really enjoy the gameplay but there's nothing wrong with the game, could use Game Center but it doesn't look like the game is updated anymore so I won't hold my breathe or keep the game on my iDevice.
