No way I’m suffering through these ads. Also, I think I paid for an ad-free version maybe 15 years ago? Could be wrong. Oh well.
This used to be a fun game. The ads are way too long and I am not going to watch them. Unless an ad free game is offered soon, I will delete this game.
I used to be able to play this game the entire way through a six hour flight. I’ve probably been playing for over 10 years. Now there’s loud, obnoxious ads between every round. Completely unplayable now. I’ve seen the responses from the developer to other comments and they just justify where they went wrong. I’m deleting the app.
I only just updated iOS 9 to 15. I only had 2 go-to games—solitaire & WordWarp. Used to be ads were short & not bothersome. Now they’re long and loud and run more than one between games. Greed, I call it. Almost worse is that muting the game doesn’t mute the ads so I can no longer play during times when I can’t mute my phone altogether. I’d give only one star, but in fairness, the game itself is still solid. Bye bye WordWarp. There are alternatives.
This used to be a favorite game that I played most every day and in all fairness I should have given it a five-star review but it’s too late for that now that we’re subjected to an onslaught of long and obnoxious ads after every game. I have now switched to Word Daily for my game addiction.
