I paid for a year long subscription for HBO Max via the Google Store a month or two ago. When trying to restore purchase once installing the Max app it states there is no subscription. I hope this can be changed or updated in the near future.
As predicted, this is awful. The interface looks like it was designed in 2015, and the content is…. Just awful. I don’t understand why they combined these brands. But, I’m thankful that I can delete this app and cancel my subscription.
I don’t know why you had to create a new app to begin with. You could have just kept the same app, update the logo and call it good. But I’ll play. The app is the same. Except you eliminated one very important feature: the “all” category for movies and series. So now I’m forced to look at the lists by genre, there is no way for me look at the entire list in the catalog without moving from one genre to the next. Thumbs down for that.
