This game is one of two things, it’s either - 1. An unauthorized, one-to-one plagiarized game that ripped the file from Athena Studios and named it something else to get money, OR - 2. The developer completely abandoned the original version COLORLAND, the one I completed and spent almost a year waiting for them to update, and created a new game development company name and reposted it as a different game to make money outside Athena. Honestly this is completely ridiculous. If the dev seriously abandoned their game and just ripped the file to repost it as something new, that’s a huge slap in the face to the people who actually played the original. I really do love COLORLAND and thought it was extremely unique and I love the pixel art style, but now it’s completely obvious that game was abandoned to put all their time and players money into this game, which again, is an exact copy of COLORLAND.. So if you played the original and want to play more, you’ll have to start over in this one to get more content. Extremely weird situation and really screwed the original players…
A copy and paste of that other game, Color Island I think it is. Also, the reviews are 100% botted, I’ll bet my still-not-rotten-pumpkin-with-the-Roblox-man-face-painted-on-one-side-and-a-demonic-representation-of-sanity-being-drained-away-on-the-other-side on it.
Ok, I’m changing my review since I didn’t realize this game is actually someone’s stolen artwork (Color Island). SHAME THIEVES. Also, I had come here anyway to lower my review, since once you do a little for free, it’s paid from then on out (or you can VERY slowly earn coins daily). Just a badly thought out game, and that’s because ITS STOLEN. Off to play the original now.
This app is exactly the same as Color Island, some of the exact same pixel buildings, and exact same world names. It’s literally a copy of Color Island.
This is so weird. I downloaded this game because it reminded me a lot of Color Island by Athena Studios. And playing it it’s Eerily similar. Down the the island names and everything. Did you have similar artists design these? Either way it’s not a bad game. I think I still prefer the original. But I’m gonna start using this one because I’ve mostly finished the other name.
