I just downloaded it, can’t tell you guys how much I hated having to open the browser on my phone to look for results! I know your app is still a work in progress but I’m so happy that finally you made the jump! As a SW developer I understand the hesitation! My 5stars go for the balls of making the app! I love Liquidpedia!
I personally only follow RLCS so bear that in mind. This app is quickly approaching the best way to follow esports, although tbh that bar has been set pretty low for rocket league at least. The updates on match scores are pretty quick which is incredible, and discovering key events is getting easier with each update. My biggest complaint is that it’s difficult to navigate to key information like bracket results or region/global rankings. Or even team stats and such which I think aren’t really viewable as is. If there were easier to get to or shown in context this would be much better. Separate point, but the ad placement is really the worst I’ve ever seen for non-video ads. At this point I am desperate to be able to pay a one time fee or even a cheap subscription to remove them because it’s so obnoxious
Currently the app is quite terrible. Lacks information and UI to find relevant tournaments. Advertisement covers second half of the app. Please improve and I will use.
Clicking the “Sign in” button does nothing and I’m assuming not being signed in is why following sports and tournaments and get notifications on matches doesn’t work. Notifications is the only reason I’d like to use the app over the website and with this feature unavailable to me, I find myself using the website exclusively over the app.
Was exited to see the app was released but unfortunately it’s not a great experience. Much more difficult to navigate and information is weirdly laid out and presented for groups/swiss/standings. I’ll continue to use the mobile site which is still amazing.
