This new app is HORRIBLE. No notifications. No run time. That is, if the app even opens. Why change something that was working????? Go back to on cue app PLEASE.
No way to stop generator with new APP. If you are not home and detect a problem you cannot shut it off remotely. Bring back old APP
This is a downgrade from OnCue, and that’s hard to do. No notification about power outages or run status (like OnCue had). No ability to reset your generator remotely if it faults or fails to start (which mine has done dozens of times). You basically need to check the log manually to determine what it has been doing and call your neighbor to go reset the generator if it faults while you are out of town.
By far the worst thing Kohler has produced to date. Many of the so-called functions simply do not work, system Does Not Notify Owners When the Generator runs . OnCue Plus was infinitely better
I am not sure why there’s less features than the previous oncue app. For example, there aren’t any notifications so you don’t even know when your generator is running. I would expect phone notifications and email notifications like the previous app. I left my oncue app installed until they improve this app.
