I’m not sure why people had trouble hooking these up? It’s very simple that the lights will need power to find the Bluetooth connection. Therefore, if your phone is not finding the device unplug the light and plug it back in and it finds it immediately. It also worked great with changing the colors, or turning on and off and with the music! I am very happy with these lights and the app!
Bought this for Christmas spot lites in my trees. Love the look so far. The app itself obviously needs some work, but it seems like they are updating fairly often. The app works, you just have to be a little patient and mess around until you figure it out. I would like to ask the developers to PLEASE add the ability for more than 1 DIY color fade and flash function. I really want 2 trees fading red to green and 2 trees fading green to red, but it only allows 1 diy color fade.
The software (app) is not self explanatory at all we had to really search through to figure it out. Once the light lit they were very impressive! Beautiful crisp colors. The programming could be better but it’s fine. What i can’t figure out is I thought they were supposed to have a timed on and off …or like a timer. I don’t see that so I’m guessing I’ll have to turn them on every night with the app. 🤨.
App won’t connect to light! Can’t speak with anyone to fix it
Poor to no instructions. Ive spent days trying to get the app to work with Melpo flood lights with limited success. I downloaded the update and now WHITE appears among the colors I picked for DIY FADE. You cannot dim the colors when you pick a mode. The slow fade function is why I purchased the lights but some colors only appear for about 1 second. What is needed is step by step instructions. Right now you’ll spend hours trying to get them to work only for some colors barely appear and the worse is WHITE which appears in the middle of your picked colors. I tried to contact the developer which sent me to an UNsecure website and after filling out the form it wiped out everything I typed when I hit SEND. Amazed Google let’s these guys get away with this.
