At first glance, this game doesn’t offer anything new. Top-down action RPG. Basic skill tree. Limited (if compelling) lore and narrative. And yet somehow, it’s one of the best action RPG experiences on mobile. The secret sauce, I’d say, is the power curve, nigh perfectly matched to the difficulty curve. You’ll struggle through an area gaining bonus XP, flee, put on some of that gear you couldn’t wear before, and then trounce those baddies. It’s just a really satisfying game loop that keeps the challenge level high without creating a grinding wall. The decision to reduce elemental damage to two types was inspired. The loot can be pretty exciting, amply rewarding the effort you put in to craft keys. Looking forward to this developer’s next offering!
I had almost lost all faith in mobile rpg games, then I heard about this gem. After playing for 30 minutes, I purchased the premium account and never looked back.

Controller support would rock!
Really great game so far. It would be great to have dungeons one day. The only complaint I have is on Mobile, when you are talking to a NPC the only way to advance the dialogue is to touch on the left side of the box. It would be nice to be able to touch the right side of the box.
