I’ll give credit where credit is due. The UX/Ui is great and the unified smart house and car concept is one which I’d love to be industry adopted. Where Wander falls short is in its obscene pricing strategy. A 3 day stay on average runs you $3000-5000 and considering digital nomads wander on a 2-3 week basis, you’re looking at 20-25k. I work in FAANG as a senior designer and I’ll tell you right now, not even my directors and C levels constituents would be able to afford such a price. I’m not sure who this app is targeting, but it’s definitely not 99% of the nomad market.
Downloaded app. Didn’t work. Logged into app got hot glass for 2 days. Reset and went back asked me for my name couldn’t hit continue. Smh. Why should I keep trying.
It’s just Airbnb for the hyper wealthy. 4 nights, $14,000. Ignore all the positive reviews, they’re fake.
Just completed my first day with Wander in Orford Cliffs, Oregon and can definitely say that I will be back. The quality of the home and the incredible amenities will inspire and create memories that will be unforgettable for the people you travel with
Discovered Wander through a friend’s recommendation and had a change to stay at their Joshua Tree property. Their concierge service was such a help to me and my boyfriend during our first trip to a Wander home :) Definitely will be using the app again to book some holiday getaways.
