I love everything about this app except for this one issue. Wherever there is a picture in my textbook, the app does not load that page. For the textbook that I’m currently using it’s pretty much every page so I’m not able to access my book through the app which is very frustrating.
I think the title says it all. Unfortunately, I was hoping this would be my go to for a text book but was extremely wrong. Navigating the textbook was awful! I couldn’t even find page numbers which is really important for doing assigned readings. The pages were hard to pinpoint what I was reading as well when it discussed photos that should be on that designated page (but wasn’t). I think the app needs an update for sure, don’t get me wrong there are great features on this app. However, the lack of page numbers and organization/correlation of the text with photos is what put me off. Oh, also trying to cancel a subscription felt like a journey in itself.
I want to be able to do my MindTap assignments without having to completely log in all the time!
I’m trying to read chapter 3, so I go to the table of contents and click on chapter 3. You’d think that would take me to chapter 3, right? No, it goes nowhere. No matter what chapter I press. I try going directly to the page number, and it doesn’t go. There’s a clumsy bar that covers up the top section of text. This is unusable.
I purchased my text through my schools book store. We use the myaccountinglab through bright space. Well apparently the exorbitant amount of money I paid did not include being able to read offline through the app. Every other text book company offers this offline option through their app, except Pearson. I dread seeing it as my textbook requirement. Get it together Pearson. So very far behind the times. Cengage is a much more user friendly platform. Look them up.
